• Shana Glickfield

    Digital Communications & Advocacy Expert

I am a founding Partner of Beekeeper Group, a DC public affairs firm, where I help a wide array of clients with their communications and advocacy strategies, focusing on websites, social media, and mobile technology for online community building. Thanks to my passion for helping clients with their causes, issues, and crises by mobilizing an army of activists, I was recently named a real-world Olivia Pope by Refinery29.

My innovative approach to communications has been widely acclaimed, most recently as one of PRWeek’s 40 Under 40. I am probably best known as the founder of renowned local blog, “The DC Concierge,” which I ran from 2006-2010. Although the blog is gone, I still tweet frequently about DC. I present and comment frequently on social media topics, including appearances on CNN.com, Mashable, ABC News, TIME, Politico, and on Capitol Hill.

When not working, I'm usually engaging on social media, advocating for my favorite DC nonprofits, and generally indulging my FOMO.
